Korean boy band 2PM has conquered several online music charts with their latest single "Without U."
"Without U," the title track from the boys' third single album unveiled Monday, has topped the daily charts of six major online music service providers including Melon, Dosirak, Mnet, Bugs, Soribada and Monkey 3.
The song, about a man's pain from being betrayed by the woman he loves, has also maintained the top position on real-time charts as well.
2PM will give their first performance for the new tune April 22 on Mnet's televised music program "Mnet Countdown."
The six-member group has fared well despite former leader Park Jae-beom's absence from the group since September last year, topping music charts with their first full-length record "1:59PM" released two months later.
Park had quit the band after stirring nationwide controversy over comments he had made on his MySpace account before his debut and was expected to rejoin the group earlier this year but officially parted with JYPE for good in February over "a huge personal wrongdoing."
