On July 26, mother to world famous BoA, appeared on KBS’s morning program and talked about her decision to live in the country.
She said, “My first son liked to play the piano and my second son liked to dance. And my youngest child, BoA wanted to be a singer. Our next door neighbor complained about my children being noisy. I felt like we were annoying other people.
Therefore, BoA’s mother moved to the country for her three children.
The host of the show asked her if she worried about her children’s education while living in the country, but she answered firmly, “I thought they could learn more in nature about sensibility and endurance. Actually, they do. It is better for their future.”
BoA’s oldest brother said, “Before we moved to the country, it only took 10 minutes to go to school. But after we moved, it took over 2 hours to go to school and to come back home.”
However, as a pianist, BoA’s oldest brother added, “I could play the piano until 3 o’clock in the morning and nobody complained. My sister, BoA could also sing on the mountain at the back of our house whenever she wanted. We even played basketball. These things helped me to manage my time effectively.”
Thanks to BoA’s mother, her three children grew up to become a pianist, a director, and a singer.
