Following Girl’s Day Hyeri, member Yura will also be making her acting debut in a new Chinese drama.
According to Dream Tea Entertainment on March 7th, Yura has been confirmed for the upcoming Chinese drama "Secret Angel". She will be taking the role of Yubin, a 20 year old who falls in a one-sided love relationship with Shi Young, one of the main lead characters in the drama.
"Secret Angel" is a ten-part series and also starring Hallyu star Jang Woo Hyuk and actress Kim So Eun. The pilot episode is set to air on March 21st and will be broadcasted in Beijing, Shanghai, Zhejiang, Jiangsu and around 27 main cities through major TV networks and Chinese portal website sohu.com.
Yura stated, "Jang Woo Hyuk and Kim So Eun sunbaenim are wonderful people to work with. I'm trying to learn a lot to better myself as a singer, as well as an actress."
