IU will make her comeback this fall.
A spokesperson for IU’s agency said, “IU will release her album in October. She is currently recording the album and doing her best.”
KARA and SNSD will also make their comebacks later this year. KARA set the date for their comeback in September and SNSD is currently thinking between September and October. If IU finish recording her album soon, she has to compete with SNSD.
The reason people are looking forward to seeing IU is she will release her second regular album. Her first regular album ‘Growing Up’, which was released in Aprin, 2009, made her a rising star. But IU’s mini album ‘Real’ was a big hit and she became a big star. IU stopped emceeing for SBS Inkigayo to focus on recording her next album.
To help IU, many famous musicians joined producing her album. Lee Juk wrote one of her songs. The spokesperson said, “We can’t tell you everything yet but many popular musicians are working for IU’s album.”
