JYJ, a group comprised of three members of the defunct boy band TVXQ, has shown that they’re still on top despite an ongoing legal quarrel with their former management company SM Entertainment.
The trio’s first concert, slated for Nov. 27 and 28, sold out its more than 20,000 tickets just 20 minutes after the box office opened.
Most notably, the concert will be directed by creative director and choreographer Jeri Slaughter, who has contributed his talents to tours for the likes of Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, Christina Aguilera and more.
On Nov. 8, SM Entertainment filed for the suspension of JYJ’s record deal with CJes Entertainment and asked for an injunction to ban sales of the group’s albums in conjunction with its ongoing lawsuit against TVXQ.
