The story of family members who were preparing for a singing contest appeared in the episode of “Table and Truth,” a feature of KBS's “Gag Star,” produced big laughter among the viewers.
On the episode that aired on October 2, the family members showcased individual members’ specialties to participate in the singing contest.
Park Mi Sun appeared wearing orange color costumes and presented a dance performance while singing the song of the girl group “Orange Caramel” and received a favorable response from the audience. Lee Sung Mi came onto the stage after Park and showcased the performance of the most popular group, “Miss A,” and presented an enthusiastic performance for the audience again.
Park Mi Sun and Lee Sung Mi praised each other’s performances and finally they both agreed to form a duet group. Lee Bong Won, who was listening to their conversation, said, “How can you form a duet again? When you had formed the duet group called ‘Twin Sisters’ in the past, you had almost gone bankrupt.” Then, Lee Sung Mi said abruptly, “Do not talk about it. Nobody even knows the fact that we had released an album.” Lee’s comment produced big laughter from the audience. Park Mi Sun and Lee Sung Mi practiced their dance together following Miss A’s song, and Lee Sung Mi criticized Park’s inflexible movements by saying, “How can you dance that strangely?” Park Mi Sun was saddened by Lee’s criticism. Lee Sung Mi then gave a dance demonstration to Park, but they both criticized each other’s dance and turned their back on each other. Lee Bong Won, who was watching their behavior, said again, “The ‘Twin Sisters’ had been dissolved just like that,” and drew a big laugh again from the audience.
In fact, Park Mi Sun and Lee Sung Mi had actually formed a duet group called “Twin Sisters” and had released an album. Park Mi Sun had already confessed when she appeared on the other program that they had to finish their activities after appearing only one time on the stage because of singer Shin Shin Ae, who appeared during the same period with her song “Why the World is Like This” and gained huge popularity.
