On July 18 Miss A revealed its first album A Class and swept top ranking in Dosirak, Cyworld, Naver, Bugs, Monkey3, Daum, and Soribada.
Primarily, Miss A was to come out in May but the date delayed to July. Members said, “We found the outfit unsatisfactory. Producer Park Jin Young did not give permission.”
They also said, “We were somewhat burdened of fans’ high expectation after a ten-month hiatus. We had to work more on our return.”
13 songs are listed on A Class including the group’s debut song, “Bad Girl Good Girl.” The title song “Goodbye Baby” is a story of a woman who says goodbye to her boyfriend who cheated on her without turning back. Actor Kim Nam Jin featured on its music video.
Miss A said, “New songs on A Class are more mature and womanlike.”
Besides composing good songs, Miss A also worked on the choreography. They said, “We tried to choreograph catchy and easy-to-follow dance. There are some moves which we start lying down, make flowers, and feature just like what the lyric says.”
Jia says, “We practiced singing while running or working out because we have to sing live while dancing.”
On the 21st Miss A reveals its song “Goodbye Baby” on M. net’s M Count Down.
