The OST of SBS’ ‘Protect the Boss’ is receiving a response as explosive as that of the drama and will be released as a CD on the 8th.
Till now, seven parts of the OST have been released as digital singles, ▶Part 1 – A Pink’s ‘Just Let Us Love’, ▶Part 2 – Lyn’s ‘You don’t even know much about this’, ▶Part 3 – JYJ Kim Jaejoong’s ‘I’ll Protect You’, ▶Part 4 – M Street’s ‘I ask you’, ▶Part 5 – ZE:A Kwang Hee and Jewelry Yaewon’s duet ‘I see only you’, ▶Part 6 – Hyoo’s ‘Because of You’ and Sohn Hyun Woo’s ‘I know now’ and ▶Part 7 – Heo Young Saeng’s ‘Sad Songs Are’. The CD will consist of eight songs and eight instrumentals for a total of 16 tracks.
The OST has always been a hot topic as the nation’s greatest vocalists have stepped up whenever a new digital single was released. Singers such as Lyn, Kim Jaejoong, M Street and Heo Young Saeng have come forth as a premium vocal line to heighten the atmosphere of the drama.
A representative of SBS Contents Hub, which is in charge of creating and distributing the OST, stated, “We currently have 30,000 pre-orders for the CD so our first task is to make sure these domestic pre-orders are fulfilled,” and helped envision just how much attention that drama is receiving from the masses.
‘Protect the Boss’ is currently being aired every Wednesday and Thursday at 9:50p.m. on SBS TV and SBS Gorilla, and can be rewatched on the official homepage (http://tv.sbs.co.kr/boss/).
The OST album will be released on the 8th and will be available on and offline. The recipients of the first 15,000 copies will also receive a ‘Protect the Boss’ poster.
