SNSD's maknae Seohyun celebrated her 19th birthday on June 28.
SNSD fan's has prepared and donated over 2 million worth of books and donated it to charity with the help of Naver who have collected and purchased books to be given to youth centers.
Seohyun is fond of reading books, and her fans have bought Seohyun's favorite books and donated it to charity. Also, about 20 fans have appeared in Gyeonggi Province last June 13 and helped with volunteer work in farming in the rural area's.
The fans will be having a volunteer service activities till July 14th next month, also there are fans who have been in long term active volunteer work in the name of SNSD's fan clube "Sone". (cafe.daum.net/sonev)was the founder of this charity work and they are registered in the city council of Social Welfare in Community volunteers.
About 30 workers regularly volunteer in order to celebrate SeoHyun's birthday, they said, "To cheer for out favorite idols, we volunteer in order to contribute to the society and serve the needy in order to enjoy the pleasure of being able to be a part of positive development".
Also, the SNSD fans planned a little open party in the afternoon of the 28th and even made advertisements for the party to celebrate the maknae of SNSD's birthday.
The fans said, "In our hearts lie their beautiful smiles and their smiles give joy to our hearts, SNSD gives us much happiness and joy and we do not want anything more. Congratulations to Seohyun for her 19th birthday".
SM Entertainment has heard of this and said, "There has been a gathering of SNSD fans in the afternoon when they planned an open birthday party for Seohyun. Thank You so much for these gifts the fans has made for SNSD and Seohyun".
