Super Junior’s Siwon, who is currently acting in the new TV series Poseidon, donated two tons of rice to Chungdong Jeil Church in Seoul, on September 22.
The rice that Siwon donated was sent to him by fans in Korea and from overseas during the premiere in Seoul for KBS’s series Poseidon which occurred on September 15.
At Siwon’s request, two tons of rice was given to Jeil Church that day.
Nearly 17,000 people can eat a meal with two tons of rice. The rice donated to the church will provide free meals for needy neighbors such as children, retired elderlies, and the physically disabled.
Siwon has taken pictures of nearly 60 packages of rice himself and tweeted the pictures with words of thanks to his fans who cheered for him.
