The reason is none other than because he was terminated from 2PM and JYP Entertainment due to a private life mistake. Many nonfan citizens feel that for 2PM and JYPE to have gone as far as to use the terms ‘Private life mistake’ and ‘A severe impact to society’ even after knowing the immense controversy they will be thrown in, Park Jaebum must have truly done something wrong.
For JYP to tell one of his most popular celebrities that he must back off because of his private life mistake, there has to be a problem. If Jaebum truly did not commit anything wrong, he would have come out and explained himself but he did not.
Regardless, Jaebum has not said a word. Restating what the company has revealed, Jaebum confessed to his crime through a phone call to the agency. Instead of calming down his panicking fans, Jaebum has not even responded and has remained silent on the issue altogether.
He is now starting to create a path for his return by communicating through his fans on Youtube. He remains silent on the issue of his private life mistake and it seems as if he is forcefully covering up his crime by promoting himself instead.
An associate of the music world carefully stated, “I feel that he needs to take time off in order to rethink his actions. JYP has not revealed what his mistake was specifically so it is hard to say anything outright but since he has confessed to his mistake himself, he needs to organize the situation properly, self-reflect, and put himself on probation.”
Jaebum has the best skills out of the current idols in the music market. Singing, dancing, rapping, and performance wise, he has shining skills and talents. Regardless, we cannot forgive him if he feels that his crime can just be covered up and he can slyly return to the celebrity world.
If his comeback goes on without any obstacles, what are we to say to the other celebrities that were caught in their own controversies due to a moment’s mistake but were not able to come back until after they took a long time off in self reflection?
It’s a question to the fans. Is it appropriate for him to just slyly move on and come back?
The right answer to this question is something that Jaebum should know best.
