Big Bang and 2NE1′s agent, YG Entertainment is now producing a beautiful and skilled girl group.
The chief executive officer of YG Entertainment, Yang Hyun Suk said, “We have many new singers and they will debut in the first half of next year. One of them, a girl group, is pretty like SNSD with YG’s distinct style.”
YG is one of the nation’s top 3 agencies which introduced Big Band and 2NE1. These groups are big enough to make people to anticipate the new group. The new group will have a different image from YG’s other groups, because, as Yang Hyun Suk said, they will be just as pretty as SNSD.
YG traditionally selects singers who have talent rather than good look.
“It’s not that I don’t care about the appearance, I just think the person who tries their best is the most beautiful,” Yang Hyun Suk said and laughed.
He added, “It took 5 years for Big Bang to debut but now it will only take 2 years for trainers. I think many groups will be able to debut in the first half of next year among 30 trainers.”
However, when Yang Hyun Suk made this comment, he clarified that the new group will have a totally different style.
As a former singer himself he added, “I don’t miss my past. I prefer to see my singers on the stage, not me. I would rather support them from backstage.”
Yank Hyun Suk smiled and said, “I love my singers. They are like my children. I really enjoy working with them.”
