비스트 윤두준이 설특집으로 구기종목 올림픽을 할 것을 제안했다.
윤두준은 26일 트위터에 “쩝... 설특집 구기종목 올림픽 안할까요.. 비스트 무조건 우승인데”라는 글을 남겼다.
비스트는 25일, 26일 이틀에 걸쳐 방송된 MBC 추석특집 ‘아이돌스타 육상 선수권대회’에서 같은 소속사인 포미닛, G.NA(지나)와 팀을 이뤄 A팀으로 출전했다.
비스트 멤버들은 100m 달리기, 110m 허들, 멀리뛰기, 400m 계주, 창던지기에 출전했으나 이렇다 할 성적을 내지 못했다.
리더인 윤두준이 창던지기에서 29m 50cm를 기록하며 금메달에 가까이 가는 듯 했으나 슈퍼주니어 신동이 32m 76cm라는 놀라운 기록을 세우며 금메달을 가져가고 말았다.
A팀은 결국 한 개의 메달도 획득하지 못한 채 모든 경기를 마무리지었다.
윤두준은 어릴 적 유소년축구 대표팀으로 잠시 활동했던 경험이 있는 만큼 평소 축구를 좋아하는 것이 팬들 사이에 알려져 있다. 윤두준은 비스트 멤버들이 모두 운동을 좋아하고, 본인같은 경우 특히 축구에 자신이 있기 때문에 아쉬움이 남아 트위터에 글을 쓴 것으로 보인다.
비스트 소속자 관계자는 “비스트 멤버들이 운동을 좋아하고, 또 잘 하기도 하지만 컴백이 얼마 남지 않았기 때문에 기록을 내는 것보다는 다치지 않는 것에 주의했다”고 밝혔다.

BEAST’s Yoon Doojoon requested to have a Ball Games Olympic for the New Year holiday special.
Yoon Doojoon wrote on his twitter on the 26th, “Sigh… Isn’t there a Ball Games Olympic New Year holiday special… It is an automatic win for BEAST.”
BEAST, 4minute, and G.NA had appeared on the MBC Chuseok Special ‘Idol star Athletics Competition’ as team A on the 25th and the 26th.
However, BEAST members were not able to win high scores in the 100m dash, 110m hurdle, long jumping, 400m relay race, and the javelin throw.
Yoon Doojoon, who is the leader, was close to winning the gold medal with the record of 29m 50cm in the javelin throw, however Super Junior’s Shindong won the gold medal with his surprising record of 32m 76cm.
In the end, all the games ended with team A not being able to win any medals.
When Yoon Doojoon was little, he had been a captain of the soccer team at school and fans know that he regularly enjoys soccer. Yoon Doojoon seems to have written that on his twitter because he was disappointed about not winning in the athletics competition.
BEAST management stated, “BEAST members like sports and they are good at it, however, since the comeback is not too far away, we told them to focus on being careful rather than setting a record.”
