Korean idol groups Nu’est and Vixx met with an unfortunate incident while performing at an entertainment award show in Malaysia.
Both groups performed for the closing act of Shout! Awards. Then it all started when a local Malaysian artist started hurling insults towards K-pop, immediately followed by jeering from K-pop anti-fans. Items such as shoes, fans, bottles were thrown towards them on stage. None of the artist were reported to be injured.
In response to the incident, Malaysian netizens trended #MalaysiaSaySorryToVixxandNuest on Twitter as a gesture of apology.
Does this disrespectful act reflect badly on citizens of the country?
