The foreign media is paying close attention to G-Dragon.
More closely – to his second album, ‘Coup D’etat.’ The leading daily ‘New York News Times’ published a little review on G-Dragon’s second album on their new line edition titled “K-Pop’s Antic Emissary Raids the Cupboard.” The link is posted below.
It is very unusual for the ‘New York Times’ to do a review on a album that has not been fully released in the Unites States so that shows us that G-Dragon is not only known in South Korea and the Asian countries but he’s known overseas as well.
G-Dragon was not compared to male American rappers but to females with strong personalities such as Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga.
At the end of their of there review they wrote, “He’s capable of exciting musical synthesis, and the more he lets his appearance inform his music, the better off he’ll be.”
They kept on going, “Before long, it’s likely (K-Pop’s) borrowing of (American pop) will be going in the other direction, with the world learning from him.”
