Ladies and gentlemen rap legend P-Type is back and as usual he’s kicking things off with a bang! Many might remember the rapper as the contestant who was prematurely cut from SMTM4 and also as 2NE1‘s CL‘s rap coach. P-Type who is known and well acclaimed for his skilfully constructed bridges and lyrics, graced the scene with his brand new track, “Time Lag 2.’
The track, which is a collaboration featuring long time friend Verbal Jint features the story of a guy who is stuck in a ‘Time Lag‘ after a break-up and seems to be unable to get out of this ‘Time Lag.’ The long awaited re-collaboration (which happened for the first time approximately 14 years ago in Verbal Jint‘s EP album ‘Modern Rhymes‘) sent fans everywhere in a crazed frenzy. The music video itself was produced by the rising star directing team, DPREGIEM. The song gives an overall ‘cruising‘ vibe which, in line with P-Type’s amazing rapping and Verbal Jint‘s outstanding voice makes it an enjoyable listen.
The rapper is reportedly to comeback early next year with a double single album entitled, ‘Time Lag‘
