It was revealed that PSY and soccer player, Park Ji Sung, will be joining forces to raise money for the JS Foundation.
YG Entertainment stated: “Park Ji Sung, who currently plays for the Queens Park Rangers Football Club, recently invited PSY to attend this year’s ‘Asian Dream Cup.’ We are currently in talks about it.”
“Asian Dream Cup” is a charity football game hosted by JS Foundation to improve the football environment in South-East Asia and to support young talented football players. Last year, the profit from “Asian Dream Cup” were donated to Thai children in the flood ravaged areas of Thailand.
The two have been friends since last year as they met in England for a friendly meal. It was also revealed that Park Ji Sung almost made it on PSY’s music video for “Gangnam Style”.
