PENTAGON have officially announced that they are on the comeback trail, and have already started dropping the teasers.

The group will be releasing their 7th mini-album ‘Thumbs Up!’ on September 10.  Unfortunately for fans, they will be making their comeback as an 8-member group with both E’Dawn and YanAn sitting out this comeback.

The first teaser to hit their social media channels gave us a few clues to the release details – but not many.  The colour green (and a bright green) at that features prominently, the mini-album’s release date and words which read, “Ribbit, ribbit, the frog sings.  September 10, PENTAGON comeback.

It turns out the first part of that phrase is from a children’s song about frogs.

Now the group have released another curious teaser which has the caption, “Ribbit, ribbit, [we’re] dancing the frog dance (Ay)”.

The video starts with a pair of blinking cartoon eyes and the morse code for ‘PENTAGON‘, before teasing fans with a restricted view of PENTAGON taking on some new choreography.  The clip then blacks out to the sounds of the PENTAGON rehearsing their dance moves, before ending with the same blinking cartoon eyes and the morse code for ‘NOGATNEP’ (PENTAGON spelled backwards).

PENTAGON‘s 7th mini-album ‘Thumbs Up‘ is scheduled for release on September 10 at 6pm KST.
