CNBLUE performed 12 songs during the January 31 recording of “MTV Unplugged” in Japan, making the band the first Korean artist to perform on the famous music show.

Approximately 15,000 fans applied for the ticket to watch the recording, that’s 100 times more than the 150 seats prepared by MTV.

Japan began producing and broadcasting the music program, which originated in America and has featured legendary artists like Eric Clapton and Mariah Carey on its stage, in June of last year.

“MTV Unplugged” featuring CNBLUE will be aired on February 25. In the meantime, check out sneak peek photos below:
