PSY has been nominated for the title of “Person of the Year” given by Time Magazine.
The magazine describes PSY as “The sharp-dressed Korean pop star whose ‘Gangnam Style‘ sparked a worldwide phenomenon.”
PSY is the second Korean who is nominated for the title. Singer Rain was included twice back in 2006 and 2011.
Among the other 153 candidates, Kwon Oh-hyun, CEO of Samsung Electronics is the only Korean.
The ongoing poll will be open until April 12th, and the magazine will release the final TIME 100 list on April 18th.
