Ryewook of Super Junior will play the male lead, Troy Bolton in the Korean onstage production of Disney Channel‘s 2006 made-for-television movie, “High School Musical.”
Fellow label mate, Luna of F(x) has been cast as the female lead, Gabriella Montez.
“High School Musical” is about Troy, the captain of the basket ball team, and Gabriella, a new transfer to East High, who is a scientific and mathematical whiz. They fall in love, despite being in different cliques, and fight to stay together.
Member ChoA of AOA, Fiestar‘s Linzy and Sunday of CSJH and many stars will also appear!
The musical will debut this summer, on July 2nd.
