Following the unfortunate plane crash of Asiana Airlines on July 7th, the episode of SBS ‘Inkigayo’ has been cancelled.

SBS’ representative stated, “A special report was planned to air in light of the crash, but we also felt that such festive music programs wouldn’t be appropriate, thus the decision was made.”

During the episode, 2NE1 was supposed to make their comeback with ‘Falling in Love‘ prior to the release of the song.

A plane of Asiana Airlines travelling from Seoul crashed into the runway as it prepared for landing in San Francisco. Two have been reported dead, 1 missing, and 180 injured. Out of the total of 307 people on board, 291 were passengers, 16 were flight attendants and 77 were Korean. The two passengers who have passed away were revealed to be of Chinese citizenship.
