On October 9th, Shinhwa‘s Junjin appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV‘s ‘Yeo Yoo Man Man’, to talk about his longing for his mother when he was young.
He revealed that he grew up with his grandmother and hated his father for having to live in an environment he didn’t like. He added: ‘I lived with my grandmother instead of my mother. No matter how much my grandmother acted like my mother, my desperate desire for my mother became a life long wish.’
He then started to talk about his long way to popularity by revealing: ‘I started off as a choreographer, but I became a singer after I saw H.O.T. on TV and thought, ‘If I appear on TV, maybe I will be able to find my mother.’
Luckily, thanks to help of his father’s third wife, Junjin found his biological mother and became reconnected with her.
