SM Entertainment has created a new dance unit named ‘SM The Performance,’ and has just released their single on the 30th, titled “Spectrum.”

The dance unit is made up of talented dancers extracted from the different SM boy groups, and consists of TVXQ‘s Yunho, Super Junior’s Eunhyuk and Donghae, SHINee’s Taemin and Minho, and Kai and Lay of EXO.

Fans who attended or streamed the ‘2012 SBS Gayo Daejun‘ were able to see the group debut by powerfully performing a remix version of “Spectrum.”

The song’s choreography and performance was built by renowned dance team NappyTabs, who had before collaborated with artists BoA for “Only One” and TVXQ with “Humanoids;” BeatBurger, a DJ team made up of SM Entertainment’s performance directors and choreographers also contributed.

“Spectrum” was originally done by DJ Zedd, and is a cover of the song “Spectrum” off his second single. The upbeat track is an electronic dance genre and enables the group to showcase strong dance skills.
