The youngest girl group under SM Entertainment is coming back with their second mini album called ‘The Velvet’.
Previously we had covered that SM had taken to the Red Velvet’s Instagram to release the first set of teaser images. Continuing with that trend, all the teaser images have been uploaded with sound clips of the four songs on the album attached to the last picture of each girl.
Looking amazing, the five member group is taking a slower and softer approach to this mini album much like their previous songs like ‘Automatic’ or ‘Be Natural’, which was a remake to S.E.S’s release from 2000. Donning new looks and a more sober feel, this album is sure to show how diverse Red Velvet can be.
The album and new music video is slotted to drop on March 16 at Midnight KST.
I love these girls. I think they work so well together and I enjoy their sound. I can’t wait to hear the new album and see what SM has in store for us.
