Kim Eun Jin, the wife of the founder of SM Entertainment, Lee Soo Man, was fighting against a small intestinal cancer for two years, but it has been revealed that she passed away on September 30th.
After being diagnosed with the cancer, she had gone into chemotherapy treatment and even went into surgery, but she unfortunately lost the battle against the illness.
Eun Jin was rarely seen in Korean media despite her husband’s status, and according to SM Entertainment, Lee Soo Man stood by her side until the moment of her death. The two met in the United States before SM Entertainment was even founded, and they had two sons together.
Her funeral was held on October 2nd, and it was very discreet.
