Idol group ‘SPEED’ is planning to donate their album profits in memory of the ‘5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement‘ portrayed in their latest MVs.

“Whatever the amount of SPEED’s debut album profits end up being, it will be donated to the organization affiliated with the 5.18 Gwangju Democratization Movement. This is a decision made by both the members and the agency on the 14th. SPEED has already received over 10,000 pre-orders for their album.” said Core Contents Media on the 16th of January.

Currently SPEED’s two music videos, ‘Sad Promise’ and ‘It’s Over’ are currently gaining a lot of attention due to the fact that they touch upon this historic topic.

Fans can anticipate SPEED’s return to the stage on the 17th of January episode of ‘M! Countdown!
