Well apparently talent runs in the Dong family! Taeyang’s very handsome brother Dong Hyun Bae, who is an actor, has recently been signed to an exclusive contract with MGB Entertainment.
When asked about their decision the label revealed why they signed the upcoming actor, “Dong Hyun Bae is passionate for acting and has unlimited potential and talent. He is also very committed and responsible. We will not hold back on our support of Dong Hyun Bae, who has already developed his talents through plays and musicals, Dong Hyun Bae has huge potential. His passion and effort are second to none.”
Dong Hyun Bae made his silver screen debut in 2006 in the movie “Ordinary Propose”, since then he has starred in dramas such as “She’s On Duty,” “Classmate,” “Princess Han,” “Holy Land” and “Shut Up Flower Boy Band.”
Dong Hyun Bae has also worked along side Taeyang’s bandmate T.O.P for the 2013 movie “Alumnus” where he garnered nothing but praise from his cast mate during a press junket.
“In regards to Dong Hyun Bae, he is, as you said, Taeyang’s older brother and I knew that. To my knowledge, he has been in productions for a long time. . . We coincidentally got to work together. Whenever we filmed, I enjoyed it because he was like a brother to me.”
