The hilarious and ever-engaging Teddy Kim is back and giving us hunger pangs with his new single, “Kimchi!” This is his second music video release, the first one being for the song “Colorman” which he released back in June of 2013.
This well-known PSY impersonator and entertainer continues to delight and grow in popularity, with the video for his performances on “Australia’s Got Talent” reaching upwards of 2.3 million views on YouTube. We here at Officially KMusic were even lucky enough to get a shout out from the flamboyant and charismatic performer not that long ago.
The new song, “Kimchi,” teaches us all about the popular and yummy Korean dish, complete with an infectious beat and lyrics that are sure to bring laughs. “Kimchi” was written and composed by Teddy with the help of an up-and-coming K-Pop composer, SPACESTAR.
The accompanying performance video shows us a new fashion style for Teddy and allows him to show off some fun dance moves as well. The Teddy Kim bear costume seen in the video was actually conceptualized by Teddy himself, then professionally designed by a Korean fashion designer. It was made by the same people that make costumes for some of your favorite K-Pop idols! Teddy also designed the sunglasses he sports in the video, which were then created by a German sunglasses designer. The full package brings an extra flavor to the song that fans will love.
