Contrary to YG Entertainment’s initial statement to calm fans, it seems that a closer inspection of Seungri has found a minor bleed on his liver. As we told you about earlier, the Big Bang member was in what we were led to believe was a minor car accident that resulted in non-serious injuries. It was just announced that he is in surgery to correct this problem and is expected to spend a week in the hospital recovering. Since the doctors found it early before it had time to worsen, this is not considered a serious injury by the hospital.
What a dramatic turn of events! We here at Officially KMusic will be wishing for his speedy and complete recovery!
UPDATE: It has been confirmed by YG Entertainment that in fact Seungri did not have to have surgery on his liver but instead will be remaining in hospital for a week due to minor bleeding in his intestine.
As well here is a video of some photos of the accident and translation of the reports. There is a mistranslation in a Tweet shared in the video, so please do not panic upon seeing it, no one was killed in the accident.
