Her sentence had begun on January 5, 2015. This is after she and her husband pleaded guilty to 41 counts of fraud since they were accused of taking part in a wire, bank, bankruptcy, and mail fraud in which they obtained $5 million in a period of 10 years.
Following her release, her husband Joe started his sentence of 41 months on March 23, 2016 for similar charges of fraud. He is also likely to be deported to Italy, his birth country.
The couple served their sentence separately to allow one parent to stay with the children while the other was in incarceration.
Teresa visits her husband in prison wherever she finds the time. He is held in FCI Allenwood in Pennsylvania after being moved from Federal Correctional Institution in Fort Dix in New Jersey.
However, she apparently says her husband comes third with work coming first and the kids’ activities taking the second place considering that she is all by herself.
Bankruptcy lawsuit
In March 2017, the 5 million lawsuits that Giudice had filed against James Kridel, her bankruptcy lawyer, was said to be moving forward. Teresa had filed the case in December 2014.
The couple had filed for bankruptcy in 2009 as their furniture was set to be auctioned on August 22, 2010. The auction was later postponed and then it was canceled. They then withdrew the bankruptcy petition.

It talks more about her home life after prison, her mother’s death, the family’s celebration of special occasions and birthdays. In the book, she wonders how life would be like somewhere else; she is open to ending her relationship with Joe if the situation arises, she wonders how she ended up serving time, talks about her feud with her sister-in-law and regrets not voting for Donald Trump.

In a bid to increase her streams of income, Teresa intends to expand and create clothing, shoes, exercise gear, and accessories lines. She is also thinking about swimwear line and children’s line.

Teresa Giudice is married to Giuseppe Joe Giudice since 1999 and together they have four daughters, Gia, Gabriella, Milania, and Audriana.
It is clear that right now the couple is facing a challenging situation now that her husband is in prison due to the charges of fraud. He is expected to be released in March 2019.
There are rumors that Teresa Giudice is almost giving up on the marriage after she said that she has been harboring resentment towards her husband for causing her to spend 11 months in jail due to his actions. He also caused the family to split up.
