Veterans Urban Zakapa latest music video “The Space Between” featuring SoYou (Sistar) doesn’t disappoint in the least. Even if you’ve been living under a proverbial rock and are not familiar with these long-running hit makers, this song and video are sure to make you an instant fan.
So the music video itself is like a K drama squeezed into a 4 minute 24 second music video. There is a story here but are sections that leave you completely confused at points. But one thing is for sure the female lead in this MV kicks and smacks the male lead. A lot , like seriously every time they meet she is punishing the poor guys somehow. Supposedly, this music video is a continuation of the story in SoYou’s song with Junggigo called “Some“.
I am a little unsure about what the relationship is between the two actually is. From what I can understand they have similar names and address. So they keep getting each others mail .
Musically the song is perfect. In addition to SoYou, two of the members of Urban Zakapa sing as well, Kwon Soon Il and Park Yong In and their voices all go really well together, you would be forgiven for thinking all they did was sing together. The sound is funky, soulful, with some 1970’s mixed in for good measure. The song is complete ear candy and is an easy add to your music playlist.
