Apparently, BIGBANG‘s Taeyang smells like CK ONE as he has just been chosen as the face of this unisex perfume by Calvin Klein.
This special global campaign with Taeyang will commemorate the 20th anniversary of the launching of the perfume. The advertisement was shot in New York by Mario Sorrenti who has previously worked with Kate Moss for Calvin Klein Obsession. This new campaign shows rookie models, artists, and musicians such as singer-songwriter Dev Hynes, singer Samantha Urbani, sister singer Sya Lou Lou, electric-pop singer Kelela, electronic artist-cum-producer Evian Christ, singer-cum-actress Soko, artist Ally Marzella, fashion photographer Michael Bailey Gates, photographer-cum-fashion designer Petra Collins, and model Edie Campbell. Taeyang is the only K-Pop start that was chosen for the campaign.
Calvin Klein’s CEO Steven Shiffman commented, “The new ad campaign suggests a new horizon of our symbolic CK ONE franchise. The campaign celebrates the tradition of the original campaign, while displaying a wide variety of personalities of the young generation today.”
