On September 14th, YG Entertainment’s rookie group WINNER made an appearance at the Samsung Experience Store at Westgate Mall in Singapore. The event was organized by Samsung to promote YG Family Galaxy Tour: Power in Singapore. The event certainly surpassed Samsungs expectations and was considered a complete success. The event attracted a sea of fans who waited a long time to get a glimpse of the rookie powerhouse.
The event was followed by a mini fan-meeting with a handful of pre-selected fans, those lucky enough to be chosen received an autographed poster as well was a group photo with all 5 members. After the mini fan-meeting, the boys had the chance to tour the Westgate Samsung store and tried the latest in Samsung’s electronics. The group was asked about their first impression on Singapore, Nam Tae-Hyun only had two words to say about the country: “Very hot!” WINNER’s leader Kang Seung Yoon went out of his way to mention a current local favorite dish, “Pepper crab and chili crab.”
