On November 6th broadcast of Mix&Match, Yang Hong Seok participated on the final match to become iKON's final member but was unfortunately eliminated.
Before the announcement of the result, iKON's confirmed member Bobby expressed sadness while Song Yun Hyeong said, "I am sad although I passed. From the very start I didn't know I will have this much of affection. I care for them a lot like brothers." Bobby added, "This is not the end. I don't want to think sadly about it."
During an interview with the staff, Yang Hong Seok said, "I think this is the most dynamic moment of my 21 years. In the finals I thought I wouldn't cry."
He added, "I think the parting is going to be too hard for me. I don't want to part ways with hyungs" In the end, three participants, Kim Dong Hyuk, Jung Jin Hyung and Yang Hong Seok remained hopefuls to join and be the last member of iKON but Dong Hyuk is chosen after the result making Jung Jin Hyung and Yang Hong Seok eliminated.
Meanwhile, iKON are making their first stage performance on November 15 & 16 in Nagoya, Japan for Big Bang's opening performance.
