Singer-songwriter YEIN has released an indie masterpiece in the form of latest track ‘Cry.’
YEIN’s latest track ‘Cry’ is indescribable, and is almost unlike anything you have ever heard of before. Her voice and the overall tone of the track is soft, but there is much to say about the expressiveness of the song. The atmosphere of the track is very calming and will take the listener to a unique place.
The MV is artistic, with beautiful scenes and interiors reminiscent of old-school Hollywood movies. Viewers will be in awe of some of the beautiful and exotic landscapes featured in the MV. The song is inspired by poems and artworks of a woman in a darkened room.

YEIN worked together with producer Yoon Chan for the track, which is said to describe a moment when the whole world collapses and sinks. Kim Bong Min directed the powerful music video.
YEIN made her debut last year with EP album ‘5’ – her soulful voice is a breath of fresh air and truly unique within the Korean music scene. While her sound may not be for everyone, she is definitely one to keep your eye on!
