2NE1 are quite popular outside their homecountry, but, if we don’t count their collaboration with will.i.am, their official American debut has been postponed few times already. Is YG Entertainment planning to promote CL‘s first solo single ‘The Baddest Female’ outside of Korea as well?
YG Entertainment shared, ‘Last year, 2NE1 was the 1st among female singers in Korea to hold a global tour with the no. 1 company in the world for live performances Live Nation, which was completed successfully. In particular, the LA and New York show in USA was very impressive.”
They added, “This music video will not be only for domestic promotions, but is being carried out even more carefully as a large-scale project that is meant to introduce a South Korean female artiste to the world.”
CL’s music video for ‘The Baddest Female’ will be released on May 28th.
