It seems we will finally get to witness the debut of YG Entertainment's new girl group this year.
An official from YG todl Star News on May 12th,"YG's new girl group is aiming to make their debut before September, which is this summer","This group consists of talented members who have been trained for at least 3 years".
The official continued,"President Yang Hyun Suk who pursuits perfection in music, is of course continuously checking on the group's preparation. So their debut time may change but as of now, it's highly that the debut will be this summer. The president is doing as much as he can for the group as he hopes for them to receive the rookie of the year award along with iKON at year-end music awards".
"The new girl group will be on a whole new level that has never seen before in the Korean music industry up until now", the official said.
Only Kim Ji Soo and Kim Jenny have been confirmed to be a part of the group. 'K-Pop Star 3' Jang Hana will not join the group but she will later debut as a soloist instead.
