IU‘s new drama, “You’re the Best Lee Soon Shin” has released its first trailer.
The drama will portray the hardships of a mother and her youngest daughter, Lee Soon Shin, after the death of the father. Both of them struggle to find happiness due to who they lost. This is when Lee Soon Shin meets Shin Jun Ho (Jo Jung Suk), a cold businessman, and a romance between them develops.
In the trailer, Lee Soon Shin’s hardships as well as her first encounter with Shin Jun Ho are shown. At the beginning of the trailer, IU’s character is being mocked for her strange name. Lee Soon Shin (or Yi Sun Shin) is the name of a famous, historical naval commander who is a male.
“You’re The Best Lee Soon Shin” will air on March 9th at KBS2 TV.
