“You Who Came From the Stars” is vastly becoming a favorite among Kdrama viewers!
When its 5th episode aired on January 1st, the show saw a 2.2 percent raise in viewership than the previous week. It’s complete rating was an impressive 22.3%. This extra terrestrial-human romance just keeps getting better and better as the plot thickens per episode.
The drama centers around an alien named Do Min Joon (Kim Soo Hyun) who despises the species that inhabit Earth, humans. He has spent the last 400 years trying to avoid human contact. All that changes when he meets Chun Song Yi (Jun Ji Hyun), a self-centered woman who lives in her own little celebrity universe. When he meets her he struggles to keep his distance. However he is finding it harder to avoid involvement.
All through the episodes there is a recurring theme of fate and how it can be affected by someones actions. Do Min Joon struggles to stay in his comfort zone, as he suspects his path and Chung Song Yi’s path are interlocked. Things start getting complicated as he finds himself in a predicament that hes been trying to avoid for the past four centuries.
