SNSD‘s Yuri will make her film debut with the upcoming film, “No Breathing.”
This film will be Korea’s first film about swimming, and will tell of the love and friendship amongst the youth of this age.
Actors Lee Jong Seok and Seo In Guk are confirmed for lead roles.
Yuri’s character, Jung Eun is a girl with dreams of becoming a musician. She’s laid back and gives her all in performing music. She will take part in a love triangle, including childhood friends played by Lee Jong Seok and Seo In Guk.
Yuri has previously acted in KBS‘s “Unstoppable Wedding,” as well as SBS‘s “Fashion King.”
“I′m happy I′ll be able to show something new about myself through film.” the singer commented. “I came to like the character after reading the scenario for “No Breathing”, and I started to feel like acting. I′ll work hard to make the movie a good piece.”
Shooting will begin the 19th, and will premiere later this year.
