Last night, SBS‘s talent show, “K-Pop Star 2” had it’s finale! The final two, Akdong Musician and Bang Ye Dam faced off, leaving Akdong Musician victorious!
The contenders sang two songs each. For the first round, the contestants had to sing a song that the opposing act sang at some point that season. Akdong Musician sang, “Mmmbob“. For the second round, they sang, “Warm Goodbye“.
After winning the competition, Lee Chan Hyuk said, “I didn’t know we would come this far. Thank you mother and father.” Lee Soo Hyun, his sister and fellow member of Akdong Musician stated, “I feel like we have won when we don’t belong here.”
Runner up Bang Ye Dam stated that, “Even though I didn’t win, I think I did my best during the performances. I did my best, so I have no regrets.”
