Akdong Musician, Busker Busker, Hong Dae Kwang, Lee Hi and other various musicians from TV audition programs are dominating Korea’s music charts.
According to MelOn Music Charts, Busker Busker and Hong Dae Kwong from “Super Star K” and Akdong Musician and Lee Hi from “K-Pop Star” are leading the charts in the Top 10.
Last spring, runner up for “Super Star K3” in 2011, Busker Busker’s hit, “Cherry Blossom Ending” was at the top of the charts at #4, whereas now, Lee Hi is holding onto the #6 spot with her latest release, “Rose,” from her full length debut album, “First Love“.
Newcomers from “K-Pop Star 2”, Akdong Musician’s song, “Crecendo“, which was self-composed, placed 10 on the charts.
